When Weather Gets in the Way...

WHEN IT CALLS FOR RAIN OR HIGH WINDS ON YOUR PHOTO SHOOT DAY WHAT TO EXPECT.

Always with Outside Photos when a date is set we cross our fingers the weather is going to be just perfect that day, but unfortunately that doesn't always happen.

I always am paying close attention the week of your shoot to the weather forecast, but I don't make any rescheduling decisions until the day before your shoot because the weather can change in a instant. However, I will contact you with a plan B if indeed we need to reschedule a couple days before.

WIND: If the wind speed is over 12mph we reschedule. Hair at that speed will be whipping all over and we definitely don't want that for photos.

RAIN: If the rain percentage is over usually 30% and humidity is high then we reschedule. I'm always paying attention to hourly, that makes a huge difference then what the average percentage might be for the day. However, if you want rain photos we can make that work. I'm always up for something creative and fun.

TEMPERATURE: If its 95 degrees and over I don't want red faces and sweat. If it's 35 degrees and under I don't want red faces and running noses either. However, in cold weather if we have a low wind speed usually we can do quick shoots in 35 degree weather and over.

All these above reasons are when we reschedule your shoot. If we absolutely have to we can move it to an indoor location, but for the most part we are picking another day to make it work.
